The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the superior number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to read more reach-out to some high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office sassa status devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The provider place created for intervention encounters a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
